The summer semester has started, time for Bachelor’s and Master’s students everywhere to embark on their theses. Last week, Benita Horn and Ben Bahnsen from Lübeck University joined our group. Benita is doing her Bachelor’s thesis on horizontal gene transfer in bacteria. Ben is doing his Master’s thesis on marker discovery from genome sequences, also in bacteria. Welcome, Benita & Ben!
